Founder of SPS Consulting, Sandy Hestes has 32 years of experience in education, consulting, and management. Most recently, as Director of Professional Services Programs for Agile Mind, Sandy transformed the professional services offerings to a complete suite of online, web-based and onsite services.
Previously, Sandy was Director of Professional Services for Pearson/NCS Learn's Professional Services organization. Working with the organization over a period of 17+ years, Sandy developed services while managing and growing the consulting organization from 13 consultants to 150. The group provided on-site and e-learning training and consulting services to clients throughout the U.S.
A coach and facilitator of learning, Sandy's expertise in consulting, training, and leadership development grew from opportunities working with leading Educational publishers such as Paramount, Simon and Schuster, Viacom, Pearson and Computer Curriculum Corporation.
Sandy began her career as a classroom teacher and later moved into consulting and management positions. Her experiences include the design of professional development workshops, Internet training tools, web-based and online professional development, curriculum development, management and employee coaching, sales and marketing support, and team building. As an active member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), she stays current with the latest research and strategies in training and organizational development.
With a specialty in Instructional Technology Integration, Sandy has a wealth of experience to share after working in thousands of school districts throughout the U.S. She is a long time member of the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and stays abreast of state standards and trends in using educational technology products in the classroom.
Sandy leads with passion, heart and enthusiasm balanced with practical business sense. Sandy is an excellent communicator and problem solver and believes in exceeding the customer's expectations. With every interaction she'll bring knowledge and innovative ideas to the table.
